When I installed the new 1850 carb, I thought I had checked the float levels, primary and secondary. Well when I did a jet change today, I checked the float levels and found the primary to be very low. So I adjusted it so that it just trickles out of the fuel bowl plug. Took it for a spin and it seemed ok. It did get a little hot while I was making the carb adjustments, but then it cooled off once I drove on the highway for a few miles. I am going to test drive the car tomorrow.
