23 APR 2019 - Stabilizer bar end links - Replacement

The stabilizer bar end links were replaced back in 2016 with stock rubber pieces.  I thought I would see how the suspension/ride was with poly urethane pieces installed.  I installed the end links today, went for a test drive and can't really tell the difference.

23 APR 2019 - Alternator

The currently installed alternator has been in use since before 2000.  So I thought I would replace that unit now.  This weekend I will replace the alternator and also replace the external voltage regulator.

23 APR 2019 - Headlight Door Hinges

I have been soaking the parts and then flipping the pieces so that each end can soak...another day soaking in Evapo-Rust...

..the next day...I flipped the two pieces so the other ends of the hinges can soak in the solution.

21 April 2019 - Headlight hinges - corrosion control / cleanup

Still working on cleaning up a driver side and passenger side set of headlight hinges.  I replaced the Evapo-rust solution with 2 fresh gallons.  Weather permitting, this week I will be painting those two pieces.

16 April 2019 - Front Suspension

Today I lubed the upper and lower balljoints, inner and out tie rods, manual steering adapter and the idler arm, and the spring perches.

Found out each of the spring perches have a grease zerk fitting!

11 April 2019 - 289 Cylinder head

I bought a 289 cylinder head from an online vendor.  Its dated 1966, which is good, the engine its to be installed onto is a 66.

As soon as I can I will order another cylinder head.  The goal is to get a basic long block together and rebuild the engine.
