3 June 2018 - Edelbrock valve covers

I have continued working on the valve covers to get them ready for installation.  Several of the faux hex bolts are missing from each valve cover.  I ended up cutting up several hex head bolts so they can be installed in the locations where this is missing hardware.

I also removed as much casting flash material as possible to smooth out the internal surfaces of the valve covers.  I also had to re-install the valve cover breather oil splash plates.  They were somewhat secured with riv-nuts.  I removed them and found suitable sheet metal screws and re-installed the plates.

Red circles indicate missing hardware.  So I cut up 5 hex head bolts to fit in those locations.  I will use JB Weld to keep them in place
