Re-installed the trunk lid. Put together a stud kit so its easier to remove/install the trunk lid by myself.
The trunk has been painted with the rust encapsulator around the edges. I put 2-3 coats depending on the location/severity. The trunk opening, passenger side near rear window corner had a bit of rust, painted that a couple times.
I also painted the trunk areas of the wheel wells and inner sides a couple of coats.
I ordered a trunk seal and when that arrives I will install that to deal with any water leaks the trunk lid may have had...
