I did a couple of leak tests on the cowl vents. A gallon of water was poured into the main grille for each cowl vent side. There were no signs of water leaks at the cowl vents on the inside of the car.
I am going to see if the water that is remaining, will leak somewhere/somehow inside. I have paper towels in and around the cowl vents and on the floorboards.
