1 July 2017 - Trunk Hood / Trunk hood area

I removed the trunk hood today and cleaned up the areas on it that were in need of rust management.  The area where the trunk hood mounts also needed some rust management.  I used a prodcut called Eastwood rust encapsulator in the 1 quart can.  The product even after its properly mixed is very thin almost like water.  It takes several coats(3-4) to get good coverage of any areas that get painted.

Initially I didn't like using the product but it takes a bit more preparation to use verses chassis saver.
